Dispositif de protection d’une installation ou d’une unité d’irradiation qui confine totalement le rayonnement primaire, diffusé et parasite et le réduit de sorte que le débit de dose ambiante à 10 cm de la surface de l’installation soit inférieur à 1 Sv/h et qu’en tout endroit accessible, les valeurs limites de dose applicables aux membres du public ne soient pas dépassées.
