"BO 1999 E 1145") et dans les abréviations des commissions parlementaires (p. ex. "CIP-E"); EXP: aussi appelé "Chambre des cantons" car ses membres représentent les cantons; aujourd'hui, les membres du Conseil des États sont élus dans tous les cantons par les citoyens disposant du droit de vote, tout comme les membres du Conseil national, mais selon les dispositions du droit cantonal
