anglais
  • paraglacial sedimentation (correct,see observation)

OBS: ... it is difficult to determine when ""paraglacial sedimentation"" ceases to influence suspended sediment yields, and therefore significantly limiting the usefulness of the term to describe the period of suspended sediment yield adjustment following deglacierization.
OBS: The term ""paraglacial"" is introduced and specifically contrasted with ""periglacial"", examples from Baffin Island (present day paraglacial environment) and southern British Columbia (a relict paraglacial environment).
OBS: paraglacial : [Said of] nonglacial processes that are directly conditioned by glaciations ... it refers both to proglacial processes, and to those occurring around and within the margins of a former glacier that are the direct result of the former presence of ice.
