CONT: Les ouvriers de plancher sont surtout employés au vissage et dévissage des tubes et à leur stockage quand on a fait une manœuvre d'aller et retour.
OBS: Après le «roustabout», [on a] l'homme de plateforme qu'on appelle aussi le «roughneck» (le dur à cuir). Ceux-là sont au poste de forage, et c'est avec eux que le forage passe ou casse. Leur travail est probablement le plus dangereux.

CONT: Floorhand (or roughneck). A floorhand's work is the most physical of any on the rig. A floorhand runs the rig floor when pipe or rods are being handled, performs routine maintenance, and keeps tools and equipment clean and well organized. They are responsible for following instructions as outlined by the operator as they relate to equipment set-up and operation, and performing various well servicing operating safely and according to CenAlta procedures.
