OBS: The Canadian Hardware and Housewares Manufacturers Association (CHHMA) has been serving the Hardware and Housewares industry since 1968. Initially, the CHHMA was a lobby group formed to represent the interests of manufacturers to government and retail/distributor customers. Today, the CHHMA is a national non-profit organization comprised of over 200 companies who manufacture and distribute hardware and housewares products. While lobby efforts are still a major part of the Association's mandate, the CHHMA also hosts numerous business functions, social events and networking opportunities each year providing significant value to its members. The mission statement : to assist its members to sell more and to do so more profitably. The goals: to foster positive business and social interaction; to facilitate the exchange of market information; to represent the interests of members to their customer base and to the government.
