Durch die erhöhten Phenprocoumonspiegel ist die antikoagulatorische Wirkung verstärkt. Es können vermehrt Blutungskomplikationen auftreten. Mögliche Symptome sind Hämatome, Hämoptyse, Hämorrhagien, Hämaturie.

Kombination meiden
Meccanismo
Clarithromycin hemmt CYP3A4 und damit auch teilweise den Metabolismus von Phenprocoumon.
Misure raccomandate
Falls die Kombination erforderlich ist, INR engmaschig monitorisieren, insbesondere zu Beginn und bei Absetzen der antibiotischen Therapie. Bei Bedarf Phenprocoumondosis anpassen.
