EXP: quiconque procède, lors de l’application d’une méthode de procréation médicalement assistée, à l’analyse du patrimoine génétique de gamètes ou d’embryons in vitro et à leur sélection en fonction du sexe ou d’autres caractéristiques dans un but autre que celui de remédier à la stérilité ou d’écarter le risque de transmission de la prédisposition à une maladie grave aux descendants, est puni d’une peine privative de liberté de trois ans au plus ou d’une peine pécuniaire

EXP: wer bei Fortpflanzungsverfahren das Erbgut von Keimzellen oder Embryonen in vitro untersucht und sie nach ihrem Geschlecht oder nach anderen Eigenschaften auswählt, ohne dass damit die Unfruchtbarkeit überwunden oder die Übertragung der Veranlagung für eine schwere Krankheit auf die Nachkommen verhindert werden soll, wird mit Freiheitsstrafe bis zu drei Jahren oder Geldstrafe bestraft

EXP: chiunque, nell’ambito di un metodo di procreazione, esamina il patrimonio genetico di gameti o di embrioni in vitro e li seleziona in base al sesso o ad altre caratteristiche senza che si intenda, con tale procedura, rimediare alla sterilità o evitare di trasmettere ai discendenti la predisposizione a una malattia grave, è punito con una pena detentiva sino a tre anni o con una pena pecuniaria

EXP: any person who in the course of a reproductive technique analyses the genetic material of reproductive cells or embryos in vitro and selects them according to their sex or according to other characteristics without overcoming infertility or avoiding the transmission of the predisposition to a serious disease to the offspring shall be liable to a custodial sentence not exceeding three years or to a monetary penalty
