Based on FDFA Finance, [A practical guide: GLOBAL BUDGET of a representation abroad](https://www.collaboration.eda.admin.ch/en/Documents/leitfaden-globalbudget_EN.pdf) (15.2.2017).

Contextes d'emploi

• « The overall budget for the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) is funded from two sources. It comprises a GLOBAL BUDGET, to cover its own costs, and specific credits (framework credits) which fund projects, grants and contributions. With the implementation of the New Management Model (NMM) for the Federal Administration, framework credits may no longer be used to meet either personnel or operating expenses. As of 2017, the global budget for a representation abroad will comprise both the budget (formerly Finkomp) for the embassy or consulate, and the operating credit(s) for the cooperation office. »
