CONT: Unitization. When owners of oil and/or gas reserves pool their individual interests in return for an interest in the overall unit, which is then operated by a single company on behalf of the group, thus increasing efficiency and profitability.
CONT: Most states in which we operate also have statutes and regulations governing a number of environmental matters, including the unitization or pooling of oil and gas properties and establishment of maximum rates of production from oil and gas wells.
