OBS: Local, state, and federal correctional facilities; community correctional centers and probation and parole agencies; juvenile services, private training, and higher education institutions. Purposes are to: promote the continuous improvement of training programs and staff development standards; encourage and provide a source of communication on developments in correctional staff training; promote professionalism in correctional training; represent the interests of correctional trainers.
