Programme écoÉNERGIE pour le chauffage renouvelable

OBS: Le Programme écoÉNERGIE pour le chauffage renouvelable fournira 36 millions de dollars sur quatre ans pour favoriser l'adoption de technologies propres de production d'énergie thermique renouvelable pour le chauffage de l'eau et des locaux. Les fonds serviront à trois fins : remises pour l'installation de technologies thermiques solaires dans les secteur industriel, commercial et institutionnel; soutien de projets pilotes où des services publics et des fournisseurs d'énergie communautaires font l'essai de systèmes thermiques solaires dans le secteur résidentiel; aide à des initiatives de développement des capacités dans les industries du chauffage thermique solaire et du chauffage géothermique (pompes géothermiques).

OBS: ecoENERGY for Renewable Heat, will provide $36 million over four years to increase the adoption of clean renewable thermal technologies for water heating and space heating and cooling. The funds are provided for 3 program activities: rebate for the installation of solar thermal technologies in the industrial, commercial and institutional sectors; support for pilot projects with utilities and community energy providers to test approaches to deploy solar thermal in the residential sector; and work with industry to develop capacity development initiatives in the solar thermal and geoexchange (ground-source heat pump) industries.
